The OpenText VIM Functional Lead will provide functional leadership for the upgrade of the OpenText Vendor Invoice Management (VIM) solution. This consultant will be responsible for assessing the current environment, defining upgrade requirements, coordinating testing activities, and ensuring successful deployment of the upgraded VIM platform.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead functional analysis, planning, and execution of the OpenText VIM upgrade.
- Review existing VIM configurations, workflows, business rules, and integrations.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and validate upgrade impacts.
- Coordinate system integration testing (SIT), user acceptance testing (UAT), and defect resolution.
- Provide recommendations for process improvements and optimization opportunities.
- Support cutover planning, deployment activities, and post-go-live stabilization.
- Work closely with technical resources, SAP teams, and project leadership throughout the engagement.
Required Qualifications:
- Extensive experience implementing and upgrading OpenText Vendor Invoice Management (VIM).
- Strong understanding of SAP Accounts Payable processes and invoice management workflows.
- Experience supporting multiple OpenText VIM upgrade projects.
- Ability to lead workshops, gather requirements, and communicate effectively with business and technical stakeholders.
- Experience with testing strategy, defect management, and deployment planning.
- Strong analytical, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with OpenText ICC, Archive Server, and related OpenText products.
- Public sector experience is a plus.
- Experience working in large, complex enterprise environments.
